How do I delete my account?
Unlike with centralized services, with Atomic Wallet you don't have an 'account' per se. We don't require your ID, email address, phone number, etc. All your private data is stored locally on your device, which means no one—including us or any third-party service—can access it.
If you no longer wish to use Atomic Wallet, all you need to do is to transfer your funds away, uninstall the app and clear cache.
Additionally, you can delete your wallet in our mobile app.
Warning: do not delete your wallet without saving your 12-word phrase if you still have funds in it.
- Find the 'More' tab at the bottom panel of your Atomic Wallet mobile app. Tap it and then tap 'Security';
- Tap the 'Delete wallet' button;
Read the following warning carefully and tap 'Continue';
Your wallet will be minimized. If you open it again, you will be offered to create a new wallet or restore and existing one. All the data pertaining to your old wallet is now deleted.
