How do I clear cache?

Warning: Before clearing cache, write down or backup your 12-word seed phrase. Otherwise, you'll lose your current wallet and all the crypto it contains!

  1. In your Atomic Wallet app, tap the icon in the Wallet tab and go to Security Private keys & Backup.
  2. Enter your password and tap 12 words backup.
    Take a pen and a piece of paper and write your backup phrase down. Double-check it to make sure you got everything right. This will be the only way to restore your wallet once you clear your cache.

  3. Close Atomic Wallet and open your Settings app.
  4. Scroll down and tap Manage Apps.

  5. Select Atomic Wallet from your app list. Here, tap Clear data.
  6. Tap  Clear Cache.

  3. Close Atomic Wallet and open your Settings app. 
  4. Scroll down and tap General.

  5. Tap iPhone Storage.

  6. Select Atomic Wallet.

  7. Tap Delete App.

  8. Download the Atomic Wallet app again from App Store.
  9. Restore your wallet using your 12-word backup phrase. For detailed instructions, see our guide How do I restore my wallet with my 12-word backup phrase?.
  1. Go to your Local Disk (C:) and into the 'Users' folder; 

  2. Find the folder with your username;

  3. Go to the 'App Data' folder; 

  4. Go to 'the Local' folder;

  5. Find the 'Programs' folder and open it; 

  6. Find the 'atomic' folder and delete it along with all the files in it; 

  1. Open Finder;

  2. Press Command+Shift+Dot;

  3. On the top panel, choose "Go" > "Go to folder";
  4. Put /Users/[your user name]/Library/Application Support/atomic into the text field replacing [your user name] with your user name, and hit Enter;
  5. A folder will open; delete everything it contains and move on to the next step.
