Can I buy crypto with my credit card?
Note: If you're in the USA, you won't be able to buy XRP with your card because of the SEC's ongoing lawsuit against Ripple.
If you aren't sure if your credit card can be used to buy crypto, contact your bank and make sure:
- You can use your card for international transactions,
- You have enough money on your balance for the transaction,
- Your card is part of the 3D Secure program, and
- Your bank allows cryptocurrency transactions.
Some countries explicitly ban crypto purchases, so if your payment fails, make sure crypto is legal in your location.
Note that credit card crypto orders aren't available in the countries listed here:
Afghanistan, Albania, Barbados, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Ghana, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Jamaica, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Mali, Malta, Morocco, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Philippines, Senegal, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Turkey, Uganda, Yemen, Zimbabwe.
