Adding a custom ERC-20 token manually by contract
You can use Atomic Wallet for any token based on the Ethereum blockchain. Some are listed in the app by default, but you're free to add any custom tokens you want. Before proceeding, please make sure you're using the latest version of our app, which can be found here.
Important: As of now, we don't offer support for custom BEP-2 tokens or any other token standards. These instructions will only work for ERC-20 tokens, so please avoid trying to use them for any other protocols.
How to check whether your token is a ERC-20 one
First, check if your token is actually Ethereum-based.
- Open the list of ERC-20 tokens by Etherscan.
- Select theSearchicon at the top-right corner.
- Type the name of your token into the search bar. The screenshot below shows POND as an example.
If your token is a ERC-20 one, it'll promptly pop up in the search suggestions. In this case, just select it from the results for now and keep reading this guide.
How to add a custom ERC-20 token automatically
- First, go to the Wallet tab and click the "+" icon at the top-right corner. Now, you can either add your token manually by its contract or simply send it to your ETH address. We'll guide you through both options;
- Copy your ETH address or scan the QR code with it;
- Send your ERC-20 token to your Atomic Wallet ETH address and restart the app. The token will be added to your coin list automatically.
Add your token manually by contract
- First, go to the Wallet tab and click the "+" icon at the top-right corner. Now, you can either add your token manually by its contract or simply send it to your ETH address. We'll guide you through both options;
- Hit the Add by contract button.
- Search for your token on Etherscan (GRT is used as an example here). Once you find it, go to its profile and copy its contract address.
- Paste the address into the Contract address field in the app. Everything else will get filled in automatically, so you'll just need to click the Add token button and restart the app. Voila!
- First, tap the 'More' button at the bottom right corner and select the 'Add token' option in the menu;
- Search for your token on Etherscan (DEXT is used as an example here);

Once you find it, go to its profile and copy its contract address;
- Paste the address into the Contract address field in the app. Everything else will be filled in automatically, so you'll just need to tap the Add token button;
- Voila, you've added a token manually!
