I am getting 'Couldn't send your token' error
If you see the error "Couldn't send your token", it means the transaction could not be broadcast to the blockchain. This is usually related to fees, network settings, or temporary connectivity issues.

What this error means
When you send a token, the transaction must be processed and confirmed by the blockchain network.
Even if you have enough tokens, you also need the native coin of the network to pay transaction fees.
Examples:
- Ethereum → fees are paid in ETH;
- BNB Smart Chain → fees are paid in BNB;
- TRON → fees are paid in TRX.
If the wallet cannot cover the fee or cannot properly connect to the network, the transaction will fail.
Common causes
- Not enough native coin (ETH, BNB, TRX, etc.) to pay fees;
- Wrong network selected for the token;
- Network congestion or temporary blockchain issues;
- Token exists on a different network (e.g. USDT ERC20 vs BEP20);
- Pending transaction blocking a new one;
- Temporary connection issues with blockchain nodes;
- Failure to estimate transaction fee (node/RPC issue).
How to fix
- Check your fee balance
Make sure you have enough native coin:-
- ETH for Ethereum;
- BNB for BNB Smart Chain;
- TRX for TRON.
Even a small amount (e.g. 0.001–0.01 ETH/BNB) is usually enough for basic transactions.
Tokens (USDT, AWC, etc.) cannot be used to pay fees.
- Check the network
-
- Ensure the token matches the selected network;
- Example: BEP20 tokens require BNB Smart Chain.
- Wait and try again
-
- Wait a few minutes;
- Retry the transaction.
Network congestion or node instability may cause temporary failures.
- Check for pending transactions
-
- Make sure no previous transaction is stuck;
- Wait until it is confirmed or dropped.
A pending transaction can block all new outgoing transactions.
- Verify transaction details
-
- Double-check the address and amount;
- Ensure the token is supported on the selected network.
Advanced troubleshooting
Try these steps only if the issue persists:
- Restart the app;
- Check your internet connection;
- Try using a VPN (may help if node access is restricted);
- Update or reinstall the wallet.
Restore your wallet using the backup phrase only if necessary.
When to contact support
If the issue continues, contact support and provide:
- Your wallet address (in text format);
- Screenshot of the error;
- Transaction hash (if available).
Security tips
- Never share your private keys;
- Never share your 12-word backup phrase;
- Support will never ask for this information.
Important
Atomic Wallet is non-custodial:
- Transactions cannot be reversed;
- Access to funds cannot be restored without your backup phrase.
