Does Atomic Wallet offer support for SegWit?

With Atomic Wallet, you can send BTC to SegWit addresses of these formats:

  • Nested SegWit (P2SH): the addresses starting with a 3
  • Native SegWit (bech32 or P2WPKH): the addresses starting with bc1
  • Legacy (P2PKH): the addresses start with a 1

However, we only use legacy receiving addresses in the wallet app to allow for better compatibility with other services. 

We also support sending to SegWit addresses for LTC.
